Park Eun-sil, Professor at Chugye University for the Arts, Appointed as President of the Korea Arts & Culture Education Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on the 15th that Professor Park Eun-sil of the Graduate School of Cultural Arts Management at Chugye University for the Arts has been appointed as the President of the Korea Arts & Culture Education Service. The term is three years, until September 2025.
Newly appointed President Park Eun-sil graduated from Seoul National University College of Fine Arts, earned a Master of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in the United States, and received a Ph.D. in Urban Engineering from Seoul National University. She has accumulated nearly 30 years of experience and expertise in domestic and international cultural arts education fields and cultural arts management.
President Park, currently a professor at the Graduate School of Cultural Arts Management at Chugye University for the Arts, has served as a member of the Korea Arts Council, a member of the Korean National Commission for UNESCO, and a member of the Presidential Committee on Regional Development. She contributed to the establishment of the 1st Basic Plan for Regional Culture Promotion and the hosting of the 2nd World Conference on Arts Education.
