Detecting Voice Phishing Signs with AI... KB Advances System Enhancement
Real-time Analysis of ATM Videos to Block Deposits and Withdrawals
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] KB Kookmin Bank is detecting and preventing various voice phishing signs using artificial intelligence (AI).
On the 15th, KB Kookmin Bank announced that it has advanced its 'AI Voice Phishing Monitoring System' in this way.
Through this, AI analyzes customers' financial patterns and cash flows via deep learning to detect signs of voice phishing. It continuously corrects identified issues during monitoring through ongoing AI learning and has enhanced the detection rate of dummy accounts by incorporating the latest detection techniques based on accumulated data, thereby stabilizing the existing system.
Additionally, KB Kookmin Bank has implemented 'ATM Voice Phishing Damage Deposit and Withdrawal Blocking' to prevent the inflow of face-to-face fraud funds. It analyzes unusual ATM deposit and withdrawal transactions through the 'AI Monitoring System' and 'real-time ATM video,' and if a transaction is judged to be related to voice phishing damage, it informs the customer and blocks ATM deposits and withdrawals.
