The city announced on the 14th that it has started the "Smart Green·Venture Valley Industrial Complex Water Supply Construction Project." The water supply construction project involves installing a total of 44.5 km of domestic and industrial water pipelines in Sojeong, Jeonui, and Jeondong-myeon by the end of 2024.
This is to supply domestic and industrial water to companies scheduled to move into the "Sejong Smart Green General Industrial Complex" and the "Sejong Venture Valley General Industrial Complex" being developed in the northern area of Sejong.
The newly installed water pipelines will branch off from the Korea Water Resources Corporation's Daecheong Dam wide-area water supply system (Cheongju Osong, Cheonan Mokcheon-eup). The core plan is to invest 45 billion KRW of city funds to install domestic and industrial water pipelines (D100?300 mm), four reservoirs, and four booster pump stations in phases.
