Into the Camping World Under the Night Sky... Busan Gijang-gun Hosts Tourism, Experience, and Learning 'Gijang Dream Camping Festival'
September 24-25 at Gijang Ceramic Village, First-Come-First-Served Registration from the 13th
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The 'Camping Festival,' an outdoor festival where visitors can enjoy tourism and hands-on experiences, will be held at Gijang Ceramic Village in Jangan-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan.
Gijang-gun announced on the 13th that it will hold the '2022 Gijang Dream Camping Festival' in collaboration with the Kookje Newspaper from the 24th to the 25th.
Started in 2015, the Gijang Dream Camping Festival has established itself as a representative festival of Gijang-gun by combining camping and festival tourism content. This year marks the 5th festival, with various programs prepared for camping participants.
Various hands-on activities that children can enjoy, such as science experiences, craft workshops, and game zones, as well as participation programs including drawing contests, cooking competitions, and talent shows, will be held.
Additionally, through a flea market for camping supplies, campers in Gijang will have time to interact with each other, and in the evening, a small concert featuring jazz bands and indie bands will take place.
This festival offers children participating in camping a time of dreams and hope by observing celestial bodies in the night sky. A cheerful sports day for the whole family to participate in together is also prepared. Participants can enjoy an exciting camping experience against the backdrop of the open autumn sky.
Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis for 200 teams through the Gijang Dream Camping Festival website. The first round of applications starts on the 13th and is limited to residents of Gijang-gun, while the second round begins on September 17th and is open to anyone regardless of region.
