Realmeter analyzed, "Ahead of the Chuseok holiday, key points included the response to Typhoon 'Hinnamnor,' internal conflicts within the People Power Party, the summons of Lee Jae-myung, and the Democratic Party's counterattack with the 'Kim Geon-hee special investigation.' Despite factors causing decline such as confrontation with the Democratic Party and conflicts within the People Power Party, the strong response to Hinnamnor helped end on a firm note."
Regarding party support, the People Power Party saw a slight decline, while the Democratic Party saw a slight increase. The People Power Party's support dropped 2.1 percentage points from the previous week to 35.2%.
Realmeter explained, "The resignation of all emergency committee members, the refusal of lawmaker Joo Ho-young to become emergency committee chairman, and former leader Lee Jun-seok's announcement of an additional injunction deepened party conflicts and internal strife, continuing a downward trend without adjustment. The decline was particularly notable in the Yeongnam region and among conservatives."
The Democratic Party's support rose 2.0 percentage points to 48.4%. The gap between the two parties' support widened from 9.1 percentage points to 13.2 percentage points. The Justice Party recorded 3.7% support. The margin of error for this survey is ±2.2 percentage points at a 95% confidence level. The survey was conducted with 97% mobile and 3% landline methods, with a response rate of 4.1%.
