[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] As autumn arrives, the hotel industry is rolling out a series of unique events and staycation packages targeting customers looking for distinctive outings. These range from staycations linked with concerts and themes to outdoor wine festivals and staycations combined with hobbies and emerging beauty products.
According to the hotel industry on the 10th, Paradise Hotel Busan is participating in the theme package of THE CITY project held in conjunction with the '2030 Busan World Expo Bid Support Concert BTS in BUSAN.' THE CITY is HYBE's 'urban concert play park' project that offers an expanded fan experience by hosting various attractions and events throughout the city before and after the concert. As a participating hotel, Paradise Hotel Busan decorates the hotel in purple hues and offers a variety of events including exclusive room packages and F&B promotions.
This package includes a one-night stay in an exclusive room and a welcome gift designed with a BTS theme, bath amenities, and a dust bag. The welcome gift consists of a set of seven unreleased photocards of all BTS members, a postcard with a welcome message, collaboration souvenirs such as a name tag and card wallet, as well as amenities including a room key & holder, face towel, and pouch.
Package benefits include access to an exclusive community lounge. The Paradise lounge on the first floor of the new building, featuring a Haeundae ocean view, is decorated with BTS 'Yet To Come' themed artwork. Guests can enjoy desserts while listening to BTS music and have a fun time with fellow fans. Additional benefits include access to various facilities themed around BTS songs, such as the outdoor ocean spa pool and rooftop. Stays are available from October 9 to 16.
Mayfield Hotel Seoul will host a wine fair with art performances titled 'Queen of Dionysos; Masquerade Ball' on October 1 and 2. In collaboration with art marketing and concierge company The Trinity, they have prepared an art collaboration with the globally recognized Korean drag artist 'Nana Yeongrong Kim.' In the approximately 3,000㎡ outdoor garden, Beltower Garden, Nana Yeongrong Kim, the 'Queen of Dionysos' wearing a mask, will make a spectacular appearance and engage with guests through a mingling stage lasting about 1 hour and 40 minutes. From September 23 to October 2, a 'Queen of Dionysos Photo Exhibition' will also be held in the hotel lobby. Modern pop jazz and tap dance performances by Winsome Night will be featured as well.
The wine fair offers tastings and explanations of about 170 world-class wines by country, region, and grape variety through hotel sommeliers and wine experts. Guests can enjoy a variety of wines ranging from light daily wines to natural wines produced organically, cult wines made in very limited quantities from premium grapes, and grand cru wines from Bordeaux and Burgundy. Wines can also be purchased at discounted prices. Reservations can be made in advance via Naver starting at 2 p.m. on September 13.
Programs combined with hobbies are also prepared. Haevichi Hotel & Resort Jeju offers the 'Autumn Explorer Program' until November 30, exploring the nature of Jeju in full autumn bloom with the 'Explorer Team,' composed of local leisure experts. Haevichi Explorer is a program where leisure experts select scenic spots ideal for walking or climbing each season and explore them with a small group of participants. This autumn, tours include silver silvergrass landscapes, forest paths, and natural park explorations.
'Jeju Autumn Silvergrass Trekking' is a course around Daeroksan, famous for its silver silvergrass. Daeroksan, also called Geunsaseum-i Oreum, offers a spectacular view of silver silvergrass waves even before climbing. From the summit, guests can enjoy the autumn-colored Jeju scenery, and on the way down, the silvergrass sea unfolds once again. The trail is well maintained, making it easy for people of all ages to climb. There is also the 'Jeju Oreum Forest Story' tour trekking Mureungari Oreum. Various trekking courses such as the Green Pasture Trail and Cattle Drive Trail are available, allowing guests to enjoy the autumn forest path while listening to expert explanations. Additionally, tours such as the 'Jeju Stone Culture Park,' which blends Jeju's symbolic stones, myths, and nature, and 'Today's Jeju,' a photo tour capturing memories against the beautiful scenery of the eastern region including Seongsan and Jocheon, are also offered. The Haevichi Explorer program requires reservations at least three days in advance.
Glad Hotel offers the 'What to Do in Autumn (Hobby) Season 2 Package,' which provides autumn-themed hobby items as gifts, available until November 30. It is available at three Glad Hotels in Seoul (Glad Yeouido, Glad Mapo, Glad Gangnam COEX Center) and Maison Glad Jeju. The package includes a one-night stay and one 'DIY Card Case Kit' from Pibreeno. The DIY card case is a collaboration product between Glad Hotel and Pibreeno, exclusively available at Glad Hotels. Guests can easily assemble it by following the included DIY instructions. One of four colors?Light Purple, Camel Brown, Gray, or Navy?is provided randomly. Maison Glad Jeju additionally offers breakfast for two at the buffet restaurant Samdajeong.
Grand Hyatt Seoul Hotel has launched the 'Fall in Scents with Nonfiction' package in collaboration with lifestyle fragrance brand Nonfiction. The package includes a one-night stay in a Grand Suite or Executive Suite room, a discovery mini perfume set featuring six signature scents from Nonfiction, vegan lip balm, and hand cream. Besides the Nonfiction gifts, the package offers club lounge benefits including breakfast buffet, evening cocktails, and free sauna service. It also includes one bottle of wine, traditional Korean sweets (hangwa), and access to the fitness center and indoor swimming pool. Stays are available from the 16th of this month until December 29 (excluding December 23?25).
Lescape, a boutique hotel under Chosun Hotel & Resort, is offering the autumn package 'Beauty Fall, Art Fall' in collaboration with V&A Beauty until November 30. The package includes a specially made V&A Beauty gift set for Lescape. The V&A Beauty gift set consists of a full-sized scented hand lotion Verdant Leaf and four antioxidant mini products (Antioxidant Essence Toner, Antioxidant Radiance Ampoule, Antioxidant Hydration Cream, Antioxidant Cleansing Foam). Additional benefits depending on room type include food and beverage credits at Palled Sin, Lescape's modern Chinese restaurant on the 6th floor. Guests choosing the Grand Deluxe room receive a 50,000 KRW credit at Palled Sin, while those selecting a suite room receive a 100,000 KRW credit and two glasses of seasonally paired wine.

Through collaboration with V&A Beauty, Lescape also hosts various events and promotions throughout the hotel. The hotel lobby is designed as an art gallery concept, blending V&A Museum artwork patterns and V&A Beauty products with Lescape's unique interior to provide an artistic experience. On the 8th floor lounge, guests can enjoy a book curation featuring essays and collections related to art and culture themed around the art room. Starting October 15, a wine pairing promotion will be available at Palled Sin, where guests can enjoy seasonal wines served in goblet glasses featuring V&A Museum artwork.
