Hansol Holdings Donates Chuseok New Rice to Homeless Meal Organizations
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Hansol Holdings, the holding company of Hansol Group, donated 10 million KRW for the purchase of new rice to Chamjoeun Chingudeul, a nonprofit organization operating a free meal service for the homeless, in celebration of the Chuseok holiday.
Chamjoeun Chingudeul started providing free meals for the homeless at Seoul Station Plaza in 1989 and has been running meal and housing support programs for the homeless for over 30 years. Even during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, they continued to provide meals without interruption.
