Korea Securities Depository Sharing Foundation Holds 'Chuseok Love Rice Sharing Event'

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] The KSD Nanum Foundation of the Korea Securities Depository (KSD) announced on the 7th that it held a 'Love Rice Sharing Event' at the conference room of the Busan Nam-gu Disabled Association and donated 60 million KRW to two disability organizations.
This event was organized to comfort disabled people in the Busan area who are facing difficulties under vulnerable conditions during Chuseok, and to support the purchase of daily necessities, thereby also helping local small business owners in the regional economy.
The recipients of the donation, the 'Busan Nam-gu Disabled Association' and the 'Busan Federation of the Blind Welfare Association,' plan to purchase and distribute rice and ramen.
Lee Myung-ho, Chairman of the KSD Nanum Foundation, said, "Although it is a small token of our sincerity, we hope it helps our neighbors have a warmer Chuseok, and we will continue to strive to practice sharing that supports the local community."

Since 2015, the KSD Nanum Foundation has been continuously showing interest and support by donating daily necessities such as rice and ramen (totaling 300 million KRW, 13,200 households) to disabled people in the Busan area every Chuseok.
