Musinsa Hosts 'Musinsa X Hyundai Card Fashion Weekend'... "A Meeting of Fashion and Music"
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] Online fashion platform Musinsa announced on the 6th that it will hold the ‘Musinsa X Hyundai Card Fashion Weekend,’ where people can enjoy fashion and music with diverse tastes, in collaboration with Hyundai Card.
The event will take place from the 23rd to the 25th of this month at ‘Hyundai Card Vinyl & Plastic,’ ‘Hyundai Card Music Library,’ and ‘Hyundai Card Understage’ in Itaewon, Seoul. It was planned to provide a special brand experience in an offline space for those who love fashion and music. Fourteen brands featured in the Musinsa Store, including No Manual, Vans, Yes I See, and Koor, known for their stylish sensibilities, will participate.
At Vinyl & Plastic, a pop-up store will be held for three days under the theme ‘Fashion Worn with Music,’ where visitors can enjoy music from unique musicians. Representative products from participating brands and limited edition goods from the Musinsa x Balansa Fashion Weekend will be available for purchase on-site, and a 10% discount will be offered for payments made with the Musinsa Hyundai Card.
Understage will operate brand showrooms. Visitors can see exhibition products mainly from the 22FW season collection. An O4O (Online for Offline) service is also provided, allowing customers to scan QR codes attached to product tags and order through the Musinsa Store app.
At the outdoor plaza of the Music Library, a runway showcasing new season products from participating brands will be held for two days starting on the 24th. In line with the concept of a ‘Street Runway,’ anyone passing through the streets of Itaewon can freely watch. There will also be busking performances by artists such as GRAY, sogumm, We Are The Night, and George.
A special talk concert with creators who cover fashion and brands will also be held. YouTube creators ‘Wadi’ and ‘Brandboy’ will participate to share stories about fashion brands inspired by music and music inspired by fashion. Attendance for the talk concert can be applied for through a raffle held on the Musinsa Store starting from the 13th of this month.
