Aiming to Eliminate Misunderstandings and Prejudices

The National Institute for Korean Medicine Development is hosting the 3rd Korean Medicine Promotional Content (Video) Contest.
The contest period runs from September 5, 2022, to October 12, 2022. Any individual or team interested in Korean medicine may participate.
Under the theme “Refresh Korean Medicine,” this contest aims to correct misunderstandings and prejudices about Korean medicine, and to widely promote the evolving Korean medicine industry, which is advancing through standardization, scientific research, and modernization.
A total of 13 works will be selected through a review process. The prizes are as follows: Grand Prize (Minister of Health and Welfare Award) for 1 work with a prize of 3 million won; Excellence Award (President of the National Institute for Korean Medicine Development Award) for 2 works, each receiving 1 million won; Merit Award for 4 works, each receiving 500,000 won; and Encouragement Award for 6 works, each receiving 300,000 won. The total prize money amounts to 8.8 million won.
The contest categories include general videos and short-form videos. Entries can be submitted in any genre of video content, including advertisements, documentaries, vlogs, motion graphics, and animation.
The winners will be announced on November 2, 2022, and the winning works will be used as promotional materials for Korean medicine through the National Institute for Korean Medicine Development’s social media channels and other platforms.
