View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, issued a "Typhoon Hin Namno Northward Advance Resident Evacuation Order" at 12 noon on the 5th.
The order applies to 80 areas at risk of coastal and lowland flooding and landslides: 10 locations in Uichang-gu, 11 in Seongsan-gu, 30 in Masanhappo-gu, 22 in Masanhoewon-gu, and 7 in Jinhae-gu.
A total of 156 people must move to 54 evacuation sites including village halls, senior centers, administrative welfare centers, civil service centers, and elementary schools.
This is a public announcement under Article 40, Paragraph 1 of the Framework Act on Disaster and Safety Management, effective until the evacuation order is lifted, and violators may be fined up to 2 million won.
