On the 5th, KB Kookmin Bank held the 'Visiting KB Soho Mentoring School (5th term) Meeting.' The event was attended by Lee Bok-hyun, Governor of the Financial Supervisory Service, and Lee Jae-geun, President of KB Kookmin Bank, among others.
They took time to listen to the difficulties faced by self-employed individuals and explored ways to revitalize self-employment.
KB Kookmin Bank operates the 'Visiting KB Soho Mentoring School,' an on-site consulting support program where mentors visit business sites nationwide to provide customized solutions based on specific needs.
The 5th term, from August to November, targets 40 self-employed businesses nationwide. Famous chefs, professional mentors, and the Financial Supervisory Service's 'Financial Difficulty On-site Listening Team' visit directly to provide tailored solutions.
The main support contents for vulnerable groups include providing KB Soho consulting to strengthen the business competitiveness of small business owners, offering preferential interest rates on guarantee-backed loans linked to Soho consulting for small and low-credit self-employed individuals, expanding youth job search support and participation in the 'Visiting KB Soho Mentoring School,' and reducing labor and financial costs for hiring SMEs through recruitment subsidies and preferential interest rates.
Governor Lee said, "Voluntary support efforts in the private sector for vulnerable groups will be a great help to small business owners and self-employed individuals facing difficulties. It is very encouraging to expand support to non-financial services such as management consulting and employment support."
