Ulsan City Conducts Lane Repainting Maintenance Project for National Sports Festival... 10 Routes Including Gangnam-ro Until September
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Ulsan City is promoting a lane repainting maintenance project to improve the traffic environment and enhance the city's image in preparation for the National Sports Festival.
The maintenance targets a total of 10 locations, including Gangnam-ro, Hwahap-ro, Sinbok Rotary, and Gonguptap Rotary areas.
The maintenance targets were selected considering the marathon course section of the National Sports Festival, major shuttle bus routes, and areas around key stadiums.
The construction is scheduled to start on September 5 and be completed by October 4.
Park Soon-cheol, Director of the City Transportation Bureau, said, “We plan to continuously carry out projects to create a safe and pleasant traffic environment in collaboration with related organizations such as the National Police Agency, which will greatly contribute to enhancing road visibility and Ulsan’s clean city image.”

In addition to lane repainting, Ulsan City is also implementing an LED signpost installation project in the Bongwolsageori and Namsan-ro areas as part of a bright road visibility enhancement project, striving to reduce traffic accidents by improving visibility at night and during rain.
