Herings and Kakao Healthcare plan to cooperate in developing and utilizing a mobile-based platform for full-cycle health management and a digital healthcare service platform for cancer patients, who are the leading cause of death in Korea.
Herings is promoting the establishment of a digital healthcare service platform for cancer patients, including the launch of 'Healiary,' a total care solution for cancer patients covering nutrition and more. The goal is to become a partner that overcomes the most urgent problems cancer patients face during their long treatment journey, which are currently difficult for medical staff to resolve.
Despite the continuous development of new cancer treatments, there are limitations in patient management within the current healthcare system. Both patients and medical staff face challenges in various areas such as nutrition management, symptom management, medication adherence, exercise, and mental health management. Herings plans to analyze these issues and implement a digital platform solution that enhances the relationship between cancer patients and medical staff through scientifically based algorithms.
