Incheon TP-Incheon Airport Corporation, Supporting Early Commercialization of Startup Products and Services
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Incheon Technopark (Incheon TP), together with Incheon International Airport Corporation, is recruiting companies to participate in the 'Incheon Airport Startup Incubation Project (ICN-LAB)' until the 30th.
This project aims to discover and nurture startups that provide products and services related to barrier-free, cultural arts, smart, and eco-friendly airport operations based on 4th industrial revolution technologies promoted by Incheon International Airport Corporation.
Ten startups will be selected, and each company can receive up to 35 million KRW in commercialization funds.
Additionally, customized mentoring through Skyscanning, education, and other support will be provided. Outstanding companies will be assisted in early commercialization of their products and services through various programs such as demonstration support utilizing Incheon International Airport’s resources including infrastructure and data.
There will also be an investor relations (IR) event with prize money of 40 million KRW, opportunities to move into Incheon Startup Park, the largest startup support space in Korea, and membership benefits.
An Incheon TP official stated, "This is a customized project that supports the growth of startups linked with resources from Incheon Airport," adding, "We expect that the introduction of innovative products and services will further enhance Incheon Airport’s status as a global hub airport."

Meanwhile, since launching this project in 2020, Incheon TP and Incheon International Airport Corporation have supported 45 startups, achieving sales of 34.3 billion KRW, creation of 197 jobs, and investment attraction of 21.4 billion KRW.
