Renault Korea Embarks on Full-Scale Digital Journey by Signing MOU with The Sandbox
Full-Scale Development of Digital Customer Journeys in the Web 3.0 Era
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Renault Korea Motors announced on the 5th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with The Sandbox, a metaverse and NFT gaming platform company. Following the MOU with Altava Group in July, Renault Korea Motors plans to accelerate the development of its own digital customer journey in preparation for the Web 3.0 era by signing this new agreement with The Sandbox.
Through this MOU, held on the 2nd at the Industry-Academia Cooperation Foundation building in Gangnam, Seoul, Renault Korea Motors plans to introduce new ways for consumers to enjoy experiencing cars in digital spaces by utilizing metaverse environments together with The Sandbox.
Additionally, Renault Korea Motors will conduct collaborative marketing with various brands active on The Sandbox platform, aiming to secure new potential customer segments centered on the MZ generation familiar with digital environments and to build long-term relationships.
