Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation to Hold Online Youth Job Forum from 5th to 7th
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation is hosting an online forum on youth employment.
The foundation announced that from the 5th to the 7th, it will hold the "2nd Gyeonggi Youth Employment Online Forum" under the theme "Gyeonggi Youth Employment Will Change When We Work Together," to discuss policy issues related to youth employment faced by Gyeonggi-do youth and to consider solutions together.
The forum schedule includes ▲ current issues of NEET youth (5th) ▲ new jobs created by the COVID-19 pandemic (6th) ▲ expert presentations on fostering employment and entrepreneurship culture through delivery systems.
Afterwards, the foundation will share various opinions with participants focusing on sustainable youth employment and improving the quality of youth employment support projects regarding each issue.
Jo Eun-joo, head of the Youth Employment Division at the foundation, said, "Existing top-down youth employment policies have not easily gained consensus or shown effectiveness among youth," adding, "Since this forum will be held together with youth who best understand the problems of youth employment, we expect realistic alternatives to be proposed."
The forum will be broadcast live through the foundation's YouTube channels, JabaTV and JabaTV Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation.
