Angel-in-us Launches 'Original Shrimp Banh Mi'... "Authentic Vietnamese Flavor"
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Angel-in-us announced on the 2nd that it has launched a new sandwich product, the ‘Original Shrimp Banh Mi,’ which allows customers to experience the authentic taste of Vietnam.
The new product is inspired by ‘Banh Cot,’ a popular menu item from the Vung Tau region of Vietnam, in line with the recent ethnic food trend.
It recreates the local Vietnamese flavor by including plump shrimp, traditional Vietnamese fish sauce called nuoc mam, and refreshing pickled radish and carrot, along with cucumbers, tomatoes, and eggs generously filled in a baguette for a hearty meal.
Angel-in-us’s banh mi uses domestically produced rice to make soft and chewy baguette bread, filled with fresh vegetables and meat, providing customers with a differentiated service based on the ‘hearty meal’ strategy that allows enjoying food and coffee together.
