Vessel Subsidiary's Film Division Adopts 3M Global Supply Products... "New Supplies Planned for US, Europe, and More"
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Vessel announced on the 2nd that SKCS (KONEX), a subsidiary of its film business division, has received product approval for the printing media film supplied to 3M to expand the global supply chain.
The company stated that accordingly, purchase orders and order forecasts are continuing from 14 countries including the United States and Europe, beyond the existing sales region of the Asia-Pacific region. According to Vessel, recent official documents show expected orders amounting to 400,000㎡ per month and 600 million KRW per month for six months starting from September in the new regions.
A company official said, “SKCS is preparing to launch new products such as IT device and IT process films in addition to the existing printing media films, so significant external growth is expected from the fourth quarter of this year through next year.”

Meanwhile, SKCS was listed in 2016 as the first KONEX technology special case company. After being incorporated as a subsidiary of Vessel last year, it succeeded in turning a profit for the first time in five years through efficient management and new product launches strengthened by R&D. A company official said, “SKCS is expected to achieve management performance surpassing last year’s results this year as well.”
