The Ministry of Education is gradually transitioning the mathematics, social studies, and science textbooks for elementary grades 3-6 from a government-issued system to a certification system to enhance diversity and creativity. The certified textbooks for mathematics, social studies, and science for grades 3-4, which passed the certification review last year, are being used in schools this year, and the application will be expanded to grades 5-6 next year.
Following the full approval of four types of mathematics, social studies (2 types), and science textbooks in the certification review for grades 3-4 last year, Visang Education achieved the remarkable feat of having all six types?mathematics, social studies (2 types), science textbooks, and social studies atlases (2 types)?pass the final certification review for grades 5-6 this year, marking a 100% pass rate for two consecutive years.
The textbooks produced by Visang Education are characterized by implementing learning content that cultivates the competencies outlined in the revised curriculum evenly. Additionally, emphasis was placed on enabling students using the textbooks to learn autonomously, and through the use of visual materials, stories, and workbook-style formats, students can find interest in their studies.
Furthermore, to ensure effective teaching of certified textbooks in schools, Visang Education plans to provide edutech-based learning content such as augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), 3D content, digital teaching aids, virtual laboratories, localized resource rooms, and applications through the teaching support platform ‘VivaSaem’.
