Eduwill Receives 'Korea ESG Award and Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Award'

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Eduwill announced on the 1st that it received the ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) Grand Prize and the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Award at the ‘2022 17th Korea ESG·CSR Awards’ ceremony held at the National Assembly on the 31st of last month.
Hosted by the Korea Service Industry Promotion Agency, the ‘Korea ESG·CSR Awards’ marked its 17th edition this year. Companies actively engaged in environmental management, ethical management, and social contribution are evaluated separately for ESG and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) awards, selecting and honoring outstanding institutions and companies in ESG and CSR management.
This awards ceremony was supported by 11 government ministries and agencies, including the National Assembly, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Unification, Ministry of the Interior and Safety, Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Ministry of Health and Welfare, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of SMEs and Startups, Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, Seoul Metropolitan Government, and the Korea Coast Guard.
Eduwill deeply empathizes with the importance of ESG management and has taken active steps such as adopting the ‘Eduwill ESG Management Charter’ to raise the commitment of all employees to practice ESG. According to Eduwill, it is believed that the company was highly evaluated for planning and implementing various activities necessary for ESG management, led by its ESG Committee and related departments.
Along with this, Eduwill plays a leading role in various ESG sectors, including social contribution activities such as supporting GED education, operating scholarship foundations and employee sharing funds, transparent management through the declaration of ethical management and establishment of ethical codes, and implementing a four-day workweek that contributes to greenhouse gas reduction.
