Busan Gijang-gun Hosts 'Gijang Humanities Empathy Academy'

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan Gijang-gun will hold the Gijang Humanities Empathy Academy once a month from September to December to create a space for communication and empathy through the humanities.
The first lecture of this year will be delivered by historian Professor Shin Byung-joo under the theme "Our Forgotten History."
Professor Shin's lecture is scheduled for the 15th at 7 p.m. at the Gijang-gun Office Chaseong Art Hall, and will be available both in-person and online.
In-person lecture participation applications can be made by any Gijang resident starting from the 1st via phone, and the online lecture can be watched live on the YouTube channel "Gijang Humanities Empathy Academy" without a separate application process.
Professor Shin Byung-joo of Konkuk University's Department of History is a history expert leading the popularization of history, having appeared on programs such as "KBS History Journal That Day" and "JTBC Different Class," with major publications including "A Walk in Joseon" and "Living as a King."
