Yeonggwang-gun Hosts the 1st Sangsa Flower National College Song Festival
[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kang Jongman) announced on the 31st that the 22nd Yeonggwang Bulgapsan Sangsa Flower Festival will be held from the 16th to the 25th of next month under the theme "The Red Wave of Sangsa Flowers, Blooming the Love of Youth" at the Bulgapsa tourist area.
This year, in line with the festival concept centered on the love of youth, the first-ever Sangsa Flower National College Song Festival will be held at 7 p.m. on the 17th of next month to create a festival that young people can enjoy together.
Anyone who is currently enrolled or on leave from universities nationwide can participate in this college song festival, and individuals or teams can apply with any genre of song.
The first round of judging will be conducted online based on submitted audio and video files, and the second round finalists who will perform on stage during the festival will be selected.
The application period is until the 4th of next month, and applicants can download the application form from the Sangsa Flower Festival website and submit it along with a certificate of enrollment on the National College Song Festival bulletin board.
Additionally, audio and video files for the first round judging must be submitted together via email.
The prize money is 3 million KRW for one gold prize team, 1 million KRW each for two silver prize teams, and 500,000 KRW each for two bronze prize teams. All participating teams will receive a small gift.
