LG Uplus Provides IT Infrastructure to 1,400 Mom's Touch Stores Nationwide
Unification of Communication Services, Advancement of Security and Operation Systems
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Su-yeon] LG Uplus announced on the 31st that it has signed a business agreement to provide IT infrastructure to more than 1,400 Mom's Touch stores nationwide operated by Mom's Touch & Company.
Mom's Touch, a leading domestic burger and chicken brand, is strengthening digital customer touchpoints such as contactless ordering including delivery and takeout, and kiosk operations. To unify communication services across nationwide stores and support a more stable franchise operation environment, Mom's Touch partnered with LG Uplus.
LG Uplus plans to provide wired ultra-high-speed internet lines and wireless LTE services to Mom's Touch stores nationwide for franchise owners and customers. With wired and wireless communication lines, stores can be monitored in real time, and information security management during store operations can be enhanced.
The two companies plan to advance the security system of Mom's Touch stores and operate a dedicated integrated failure recovery center to promptly resolve inconveniences. LG Uplus also plans to install intelligent CCTV in Mom's Touch stores and build a dual wired and wireless backup network to provide stable service even in case of service failures.
Hyung-kyun Ahn, Head of LG Uplus Corporate Sales Group 2 (Executive Director), said, “By providing unified communication services to Mom's Touch, which has the largest number of franchise stores, we hope to contribute to enhancing the brand value of Mom's Touch.”
