According to the Korea Exchange on the 30th, the market capitalization of the top 10 KOSPI stocks decreased by 22.379 trillion won (-2.6%), from 830.539 trillion won to 808.160 trillion won as of the previous day this month.
Most stocks could not withstand the bearish market. In particular, Samsung Electronics and Naver took a heavy hit. Samsung Electronics' market capitalization shrank from 365.948 trillion won to 349.829 trillion won. During this period, Samsung Electronics' market capitalization decreased by 16.119 trillion won (-4.40%).
In the case of Naver, it dropped from 42.489 trillion won to 39.608 trillion won. With a market capitalization loss of 4.102 trillion won, it recorded the highest decline rate (-9.65%) among the top 10 stocks by market capitalization. As a result, Naver's market cap ranking slipped from 6th to 8th place.
SK Hynix decreased from 70.689 trillion won to 67.340 trillion won, and Samsung Biologics fell from 62.491 trillion won to 59.003 trillion won. The market capitalizations of the two stocks dropped by 3.349 trillion won and 3.488 trillion won, respectively.
Hyundai Motor, which suffered a double blow from the aftermath of the US 'Inflation Reduction Act,' performed relatively well. Following the passage of the bill, concerns grew as Hyundai Motor was excluded from the electric vehicle subsidy program in the US market. Hyundai Motor's market capitalization decreased by 1.603 trillion won (-3.82%), from 41.879 trillion won to 40.276 trillion won, but its ranking rose one notch from 7th to 6th place.

Meanwhile, LG Energy Solution was the only company whose market capitalization increased. It rose by 9.36 trillion won (+9.53%), from 98.163 trillion won to 107.523 trillion won. Although LG Energy Solution's market capitalization fell below 100 trillion won after June 7 (101.088 trillion won) due to foreign selling pressure and the US investment review, it climbed back above 100 trillion won since the 3rd of this month.
