DoubleDown Interactive LLC to Pay $145.25 Million in Class Action Settlement
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] DoubleU Games announced on the 30th that its subsidiary, DoubleDown Interactive LLC, has decided to settle with the plaintiffs regarding a class-action lawsuit filed in April 2018 by some social casino game users in the United States Western District Court of Washington.
According to the settlement, DoubleDown Interactive LLC will pay the plaintiffs $145.25 million.

The company explained, "As of the end of June this year, a provision of $75 million has been set aside for the lawsuit, and the difference will be reflected in the financial statements later."
