Gwangju National Tax Service Holds Meeting of 'Small and Medium Business On-site Communication Committee'

This meeting was organized to listen to the tax difficulties faced by small and medium-sized business owners due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and rising prices, and to seek ways to resolve them.
Attendees from economic and professional organizations suggested reducing the scope of tax audits and minimizing the audit period, promoting the special collection exemption system for delinquent payments of small individual business owners, and easing the eligibility requirements for consulting on corporate tax credits and exemptions for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Yoon Young-seok, Commissioner of the Gwangju Regional Tax Office, stated that issues that can be implemented immediately will be resolved promptly, and those requiring legal and institutional improvements will be proposed for amendment, aiming to proceed with a sense of urgency.
