Imsil Bonghwang Talent Academy Receives Positive Response for 'Study Method Special Lecture' Targeting Current Students

[Imsil=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Nosik] Jeonbuk Imsil Bonghwang Talent Academy received great responses by conducting a ‘Study Method Special Lecture’ on the 26th.

This special lecture was held for 150 students enrolled in Bonghwang Talent Academy from 1st to 3rd grade in middle school.

Bonghwang Talent Academy invited expert instructor Jang Sehun to hold a special lecture on the theme of ‘Metacognitive Learning Method,’ which observes, discovers, and controls one’s cognitive process from a higher perspective, allowing students to acquire know-how on personalized learning management and study methods.

The lecture explained better study methods by improving undesirable habits in usual learning, such as study methods suited to each student’s characteristics, how to properly attend classes, the relationship between preview and class, and the importance of preview, which aroused high curiosity and interest among the students.

Imsil Bonghwang Talent Academy, aiming to solve the population outflow problem caused by insufficient educational infrastructure and to nurture talents to lead the region, opened in 2018 and is now in its fifth year.

It conducts personalized learning strategy evaluations and career exploration tests, and based on the test results, consulting specialist teachers provide accurate high school admission information and operate various extracurricular programs to strengthen college entrance capabilities through one-on-one face-to-face counseling with students.

In addition, instructors from the metropolitan area run after-school intensive classes in Korean, English, and Mathematics, and special classes for science and history subjects during midterm and final exam periods, raising the quality of education.
