Gwangju University Professors and Students as One Team Win Grand Prize at National Cooking Competition

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju University (President Kim Dongjin) announced on the 29th that a team consisting of a professor and a student from the Department of Hotel Food and Beverage Cooking won the grand prize at a national cooking competition.
Professor Kim Heoncheol and student Park Kyungmin won the grand prize, the Danyang County Governor's Award, at the "2022 Danyanggang Ssogari Festival" national cooking competition held on the 27th in Danyang County, Chungbuk.
This competition was held with the theme of creating a single dish by forming a team of an advising professor and a student, with eight teams from universities nationwide participating in fierce competition.
Gwangju University submitted the traditional Chinese dish "Ssogari Cheongjeung Seoneo" and received high praise from the judges and spectators.
