In this competition, Gyeongnam National University once again achieved the team championship at a national tournament, following their victory in the team event at the "40th Chairman's Cup Wrestling Tournament" held in April. Along with this, the athletes showcased excellent skills in individual events, winning medals of various colors, and were honored with awards such as the Coach Award and the Most Valuable Player Award.
First, Shin Yoon-bin (4th year, Department of Physical Education), who competed in the Greco-Roman 60kg category, Jung Young-woo (4th year, Department of Physical Education) in the 67kg category, and Kim Min-seo (3rd year, Department of Physical Education) in the freestyle 125kg category each won gold medals.
Next, Kim Han-gyeol (1st year, Department of Tourism) in the 55kg category, Kim Tae-min (1st year, Department of Physical Education) in the 60kg category, and Lee Geon-seop (2nd year, Department of Physical Education) in the 63kg category each won silver medals.
Additionally, Yang Jeong-hoon (4th year, Department of Sports Science) in the 82kg category and Eun Seong-jun (2nd year, Department of Physical Education) in the 97kg category each earned bronze medals, bringing Gyeongnam National University's total medal count to 11.
Moreover, Coach Park Jin-seong was selected for the Coach Award, and Shin Yoon-bin, who won the gold medal in the Greco-Roman 60kg category, was named the Most Valuable Player.
