[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Nam Hwa-young, head of the Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters, visited the Gyeonggi Fire Academy on the 25th to observe and encourage the team training as representatives of Gyeonggi-do for the upcoming National Firefighting Skills Competition next month.
The 35th National Firefighting Skills Competition will be held from the 27th to the 30th of next month at the Central Fire Academy in Gongju, Chungnam. The provincial representative team will participate with 21 members in five categories: fire, rescue, emergency medical services, strongest firefighter, and fire investigation.
