The inspection was carried out by on-site staff from Suseo, Busan, Gwangju, and others, along with SR CEO Lee Jong-guk, who used smartphones and IoT-based smart safety helmets to communicate inspection statuses in real time and make improvements accordingly.
Additionally, potential hazards along major transit routes were identified and addressed in advance, and the internal and external inspection management system as well as the cleanliness inside trains were intensively checked before train departures.
In particular, the fixation status of the protective barriers at the GTX construction site outside Suseo Station was thoroughly inspected, and a safety council was formed with a nearby department store near Dongtan Station to re-inspect the condition of newly installed fire alarm systems.
SR CEO Lee Jong-guk stated, "To ensure safe mass transportation during the Chuseok holiday, please make efforts to prevent handling errors caused by negligence or mistakes during the daily repeated inspections by preparing a constant checklist before work based on the inspection manual."
