View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Pyeonghwa] On the 25th, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Venture Business Association to jointly support overseas expansion. The signing ceremony took place at the 20th Venture Summer Forum held in Busan. Kim Yuntae, Head of KOTRA's Small and Medium Enterprises Division, and Kang Samgwon, Chairman of the Venture Business Association, attended the event.
Both organizations will cooperate to establish a joint support system for the innovative growth and global expansion of ventures and startups. Specifically, ▲ providing overseas expansion information and joint promotion for ventures and startups ▲ sharing global network information and jointly discovering demand companies for overseas expansion and investment attraction of ventures and startups ▲ jointly planning and promoting brand projects to foster global ventures and startups.

Head Kim stated, “The biggest challenges for ventures and startups in overseas expansion are the lack of overseas market information and difficulties in finding verified overseas partners,” adding, “We will strengthen cooperation with the Venture Business Association so that KOTRA can resolve these challenges and support ventures and startups to scale up through overseas expansion.”
