Gochang-gun to Hold Public Participation Forum on Pledge Projects on the 31st

[Gochang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Jeonbuk Gochang-gun announced on the 25th that it will hold a citizen participation forum on the 87 pledge projects in 6 sectors of Mayor Sim Deokseop's 8th term at 2 p.m. on the 31st at the Gochang Cultural Center.

This forum is an opportunity to gather citizens' opinions on the pledge projects and develop them into pledge projects with public consensus and effectiveness.

Mayor Sim Deokseop and the heads of the departments in charge of the six pledge project sectors will attend, present, and proceed with a Q&A session involving citizen participation.

The six sectors of the 8th term pledge projects are ▲ Prosperous rural and fishing villages where everyone lives well (20 projects) ▲ Good companies, good jobs, and a vibrant local economy (15 projects) ▲ A prime spot for enjoying the pristine environment and cultural tourism (21 projects) ▲ Safe and happy beautiful companionship (16 projects) ▲ Fostering local talents preparing for the future (6 projects) ▲ Citizens united through respect and harmony (9 projects).

Based on the results of the forum, the county plans to review and supplement detailed plans through the departments in charge of the pledges, finalize the pledge projects after a pledge project implementation report meeting, and disclose them on the website.

Mayor Sim Deokseop said, “To promote pledge projects that can keep promises to the citizens, forming a consensus among citizens from the start to execution is a priority,” adding, “We will lead the 8th term pledge projects that citizens can empathize with and feel.”
