Sancheong-gun to Participate in 23 Events at Gyeongnam Provincial Sports Festival
505 Athletes Hold Decision Ceremony on the 26th and Move to the Competition Venue

On the afternoon of the 26th, the county will hold a send-off ceremony for the Gyeongnam Provincial Sports Festival at the Sancheong-gun Office main conference room, attended by 505 members of the delegation, including 335 athletes and 170 officials, and then depart for Yangsan, the host city.
Sancheong-gun will participate in 23 events including soccer, jeonggu, table tennis, ssireum, and wrestling. Athletes in each event are working hard to achieve excellent results.
County Governor Lee Seung-hwa said, “I hope our athletes participating in this sports festival will fully demonstrate the skills they have honed,” and added, “Please make efforts to support each event and manage the athletes so that they can compete fairly without being obsessed with rankings.”

Meanwhile, the 61st Gyeongnam Provincial Sports Festival this year will be held in Yangsan City with the participation of about 12,000 athletes from 18 cities and counties in the province.
