GS Retail to Advance 130 Billion KRW Payment for Goods to Franchisees and Partners

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] GS Retail announced on the 24th that it will advance the payment of a total of 130 billion KRW in settlement funds and merchandise payments to GS25 franchise owners and partner companies in celebration of Chuseok.
GS Retail decided to advance the payment of merchandise payments to partner companies supplying products on the 31st of this month to the 6th of next month. This schedule is up to 12 days earlier than the existing payment date.
GS Retail established this early payment schedule considering the difficult economic environment caused by rapid price increases and interest rate hikes. Through this, GS25 franchise owners can secure urgent funds needed for the holiday, and partner companies supplying products are expected to manage their funds more smoothly.
In addition to the early payment of funds for this holiday, GS Retail is taking the lead in various win-win growth and mutual cooperation activities. The amount of mutual support prepared for franchise stores this year is 180 billion KRW, an increase of 30 billion KRW from the previous year, which is the largest in the industry. Based on this, GS Retail is implementing ▲ a lump-sum payment of 200,000 KRW as mutual support for the daily recovery of all franchise stores ▲ support from the insurance headquarters for fraud compensation damage ▲ long-term operation support benefits for the 10th anniversary ▲ increased renewal support funds ▲ strengthened investment in new concept stores.
