According to the Mokpo Coast Guard on the 23rd, at around 3:22 PM the previous day, A (male, in his 50s), who was working inside the fish hold of a vessel near the Dongmyeong Port Fisheries Cooperative Auction Market in Mokpo City,
was reported to have sustained a head injury from fallen catch inside the fish hold and was complaining of severe headache.
The Coast Guard arrived at the scene within 3 minutes of receiving the report, checked the patient's condition, and used a stretcher to safely transport Mr. A to land to prevent secondary injuries.
Mr. A, who complained of headache, was transferred by the 119 ambulance team to a large hospital in Mokpo for a detailed examination.
