Paldo Launches New Product 'Kalkal Dakmyeon'... "First Soup Ramen in 10 Years"
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] Paldo, a comprehensive food company, announced on the 22nd that it will launch a new soup ramen called 'Kalkal Dakmyeon' 10 years after releasing 'Namjaramyeon' in 2012.
The core of Kalkal Dakmyeon is the Dadaegi seasoning powder developed after three years of research. It is included as a separate packet and flavored with red pepper powder and chili seed oil. When added in the final cooking stage, it blends with the mild broth to create a refreshing and spicy soup taste. The noodles are also characterized by their chewy and firm texture. Potato starch is used for the chewy texture, and the noodle thickness is increased by about 1.3 times compared to Paldo's regular products. Onion concentrate is added to enhance the flavor of the noodles themselves. The new product will be available through major online and offline channels after its release on the same day.
