AI Memorial Service 'ReMemory'... DeepBrain AI and FreedLife Sign Business Agreement
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwak Minjae] DeepBrain AI, an artificial intelligence (AI) specialized company, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for business cooperation on the AI memorial service ‘Re;memory’ with Freedelife. Both companies plan to promote mutual exchange and cooperation in data, technology, and know-how, and collaborate on joint development to propose a new funeral culture.
The signing ceremony held on the 19th at Freedelife headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, was attended by key officials from both companies, including Jang Seyoung, CEO of DeepBrain AI, and Kim Manki, CEO of Freedelife. Taking this agreement as an opportunity, DeepBrain aims to explore new business opportunities in the funeral service market. As part of this, it plans to accelerate the expansion of the Re;memory service by utilizing Freedelife’s infrastructure.
The Re;memory service, launched in June, is a premium AI human service for individual customers that recreates parents in their healthy state during their lifetime through AI, helping to facilitate vivid encounters even after their passing. It can be produced through about three hours of filming and a prior interview. It is designed with a proprietary artificial neural network structure to enable real-time conversations.
