[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Jae-hee] Hanwha Aerospace responded to some media reports stating that it will merge the defense business division of Hanwha Corporation through a shareholders' meeting in March next year by saying, "On July 29, we announced the acquisition of stocks and equity securities of another company, disclosing the acquisition of Hanwha Corporation's defense division. Since then, we have been reviewing various business synergy creation plans including a merger, but no decision has been made regarding whether or when the merger will take place," according to a disclosure on the 19th.
