President Yoon Holds Meeting with Young Police Officers: "We Will Support You to Fully Pursue Your Dreams"
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] On the 19th, President Yoon Seok-yeol met with young police officers in their 20s and 30s and promised to support them through various institutional improvements so they can realize their dreams.
After attending the graduation ceremony of the 310th class of new police officers held at the Central Police Academy in Chungju, Chungbuk, President Yoon held a meeting with 20 young police officers from the so-called MZ generation (those in their 20s and 30s).
The Presidential Office explained, "This meeting was arranged to listen to and encourage the sincere stories of young police officers who will lead the future police force."
The police officers attending the meeting are young officers active nationwide, with diverse backgrounds and expertise, including a former Taekwondo World Championship gold medalist and the first-place winner of a scientific policing idea contest.
The meeting was conducted without a formal structure, starting with a brief greeting from the president, followed by participants freely sharing their experiences and future hopes, and the president offering advice in response.
In his greeting, President Yoon expressed gratitude for the courage and dedication of the young police officers fulfilling their calling as police, and promised strong support through various institutional improvements so they can work joyfully and pursue their dreams freely.
