[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] The Westin Chosun Seoul restaurants 'Nines Gate' and 'Lubrica' announced on the 18th that they will offer wine pairings that allow guests to experience the harmony between their signature dishes, reflecting each restaurant's concept, and wine.
Nines Gate is introducing two new dinner courses: a fine dining course and a course that pairs wines perfectly matched with each menu item from start to finish. By choosing the 'Nines Gate Course,' guests can enjoy eight dishes made with seasonal ingredients. The main dish of the Nines Gate Course features Mediterranean-style grilled vegetables and sea bass, along with tenderloin steak served with celeriac pur?e and truffle sauce. The wines paired with these dishes are The Westin Chosun Seoul’s house red wine, 100% Pinot Noir 'Cote de Beaune Village,' and the blended red wine 'Chateau La Rose Perriere.' The 'Herendi Course' consists of nine signature dishes from Nines Gate. Both courses are available only for weekday dinners.

One of the popular dishes, the 'Salmon & Beef Platter,' features smoked salmon, beef tartare, and vegetables arranged on a three-tier tray, which can be enjoyed with bread according to personal preference. The pairing wine is the French Pinot Noir 'Domaine Japlan Chambolle-Musigny,' known for its deep flavor.
