The 8th Asia Economy Honam Cup Junior Golf Championship 'First Day' Successfully Concluded
Isol and Yoon Gyuri Students Rank First in Male and Female Categories Respectively... Scores Combined Until the 18th

View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The first day of the 8th Asia Economy Honam Cup Junior Golf Championship, held to nurture junior golf players, concluded successfully on the 17th at Haenam Solar City Country Club.
Hosted by the Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters and organized by the Gwangju Metropolitan City Golf Association, this tournament is held annually to support the dreams and hopes of junior golfers.
This year, 44 boys and 59 girls participated in the competition.
In the boys' division, Lee Sol, a 6th grader at Ipbul Elementary School, recorded the top score on the first day with 69 strokes (IN 36, OUT 33).
Second place went to Kim Haon, a 5th grader at Saesaem Elementary School, who scored 70 strokes, while third place was taken by Son Jei, a 6th grader at Gadong Elementary School, who also scored 70 but ranked lower due to back count.
Following them, Heo Seungwan, a 6th grader at Hanmaeum Elementary School, and Park Inbae, a 6th grader at Domasan Elementary School, placed fourth and fifth respectively.
In the girls' division, Yoon Gyuri, a 6th grader at Dadae Elementary School, took first place with 68 strokes (IN 33, OUT 35), moving closer to victory.
Second place was secured by Ahn Yoonju, a 6th grader at Nasan Elementary School, with 69 strokes, and third place went to Park Hyerim, a 6th grader at Naju Jungang Elementary School, who also scored 69 but ranked lower due to back count.
Fourth and fifth places were taken by Yang Ayeon, a 6th grader at Yangcheong Elementary School, and Kim Gaeun, a 6th grader at Hadang Elementary School, both with 71 strokes.
