According to the agreement, Pukyong National University and Pyeongtaek University agreed to cooperate for university growth and development by actively responding to changes in the era based on the capabilities of specialized comprehensive universities in the Busan and Gyeonggi regions, respectively.

Pukyong National University expects to gain synergy effects in fields such as the recently promoted establishment of semiconductor departments and graduate schools, secondary batteries, marine mobility, and digital finance, which focus on nurturing talent in advanced fields through this agreement.
Pyeongtaek University expects to gain synergy effects in areas such as contributing to regional community development through projects like the Private School Innovation Support Project and nurturing talent in digital new technologies.
