"Letters Sent at Chuseok Received at Seollal"... Emart24 Operates Slow Mailbox
Receiving Over 1,000 Letters Every Time
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Emart24 announced on the 15th that it will hold a 'Slow Mailbox' event where letters sent before Chuseok next month will arrive around Lunar New Year next year, until the 12th of next month.
Last year's one-time event during Chuseok received great response from customers, so Emart24 decided to operate the Slow Mailbox every holiday. In fact, more than 1,000 letters were received each time during last year's Chuseok and this year's Lunar New Year.
This Lunar New Year, Emart24 plans to send vitamin drink coupons along with the received letters. Also, if customers take a photo of the Slow Mailbox placed in Emart24 offline stores and upload it on their Instagram with the required hashtags, 10 people will be selected by lottery to receive a 'Monami153 Love' pen as a gift to use when writing letters.
