Gwangju Seobu Fire Department Supports Temporary Housing Facilities for Fire-Affected Residents
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Gwangju Western Fire Station announced on the 11th that it provided temporary housing facilities to residents who lost their homes due to an unexpected fire.
This temporary housing support is based on Article 2, Clause 5 of the 'Emergency Welfare Support Act' and Article 7 (Temporary Shelter Support) of the 'Gwangju Metropolitan City Fire Victim Support Ordinance.' It aims to provide prompt assistance to those who find it difficult to live in their residences or buildings due to fire or other incidents, helping them escape crisis situations and live with dignity.
On the 10th at around 7:30 PM, a fire broke out in a villa in Naebang-dong, Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City. Although the fire was extinguished quickly by firefighters' prompt response, one unit was completely destroyed and there was water damage.
Accordingly, the Western Fire Station guided and supported temporary housing for the rapid stabilization of the lives of fire victims.
