Geochang-gun to Conduct Community Health Survey Targeting About 900 Residents
Survey on 138 Items Across 19 Areas Including Drinking, Smoking, and Chronic Diseases
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, will conduct a community health survey to assess the health status of residents living in the area from the 16th of this month until October 31.
The community health survey has been conducted since 2008 in accordance with Article 4 of the Regional Health Act to improve residents' health levels. The collected data is used to establish customized health policies and implement health projects.
This year's survey will target about 900 individuals aged 19 and older from 534 households selected as samples. Surveyors wearing red uniforms and carrying identification badges will visit homes in person to investigate a total of 138 questions across 19 areas, including health behaviors and chronic diseases.
The county selected four surveyors and provided related training to enhance the accuracy and reliability of the survey.
To ensure residents can participate with confidence, the surveyors will conduct pre-COVID-19 testing, check their health daily, wear KF94 masks at all times, use hand sanitizer, and maintain distance during the survey.
