[Daily Fund Trends] Over 2 Trillion Won Net Outflow from MMF
[Asia Economy Reporter Junho Hwang] On the 9th, more than 2 trillion won was withdrawn from the short-term money market.
Equity funds saw a net inflow of 50.4 billion won in a single day. Most of this capital came from domestic equity funds, with 42.6 billion won flowing in. Overseas equity funds attracted 8.4 billion won. Excluding exchange-traded funds (ETFs), equity funds recorded a net inflow of 18.8 billion won.
Bond funds experienced an outflow of 31.4 billion won. Only domestic bond funds saw 30.9 billion won withdrawn. Excluding ETFs, bond funds had an outflow of 17.1 billion won. Domestic bond funds recorded a net outflow of 16.6 billion won.

Money market funds (MMFs), which attract short-term capital, saw 2.0801 trillion won withdrawn in one day. As a result, the principal amount under management stood at 157.4448 trillion won, and the total net assets were recorded at 158.7742 trillion won.
