According to Homeplus, from the 28th of last month to the 3rd of this month, the keyword search volume for chicken on Homeplus online increased by 1036% compared to the same period last month. The search ranking for the keyword Dangdang Chicken rose from 17th place in the previous week to 1st place from the 2nd to the 8th, and the search volume increased by 487% compared to the previous week.
Homeplus is holding the Homepl5 Market and an online keyword event featuring popular foods including Dangdang Chicken, targeting the last dog days of summer and the Liberation Day holiday. Dangdang Chicken fried is sold at 5,990 won for a limited 5,000 chickens across all stores. Customers can purchase only one chicken per person, and stock may vary by store.
On Homeplus online, a keyword quiz event will also be held until the 15th. If customers enter the quiz answer in the search bar, they will receive a 5,000 won secret coupon. Sharing the event link on KakaoTalk allows customers to receive hints for the keywords.
