Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Gori Nuclear Headquarters Announces '2023 Business Support Project' for Win-Win Development with Local Residents
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters is conducting the '2023 Business Support Project Contest' until September 7.
The 'Business Support Project' is a program that discovers and supports various projects implemented by nuclear power plant operators for the purpose of revitalizing the local economy, improving the environment, promoting culture, and enhancing welfare in nearby areas, in accordance with the 'Act on Support for Areas Surrounding Power Plants.'
Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters is conducting the contest to discover projects that can provide practical help to residents and to ensure fair and transparent project selection and execution.
The budget for next year's Business Support Project is set at a total of 9.82 billion KRW, and the contest will be held across six fields: ▲Education and Scholarship Support ▲Regional Economic Cooperation ▲Surrounding Environment Improvement ▲Regional Welfare ▲Regional Culture Promotion ▲Other Support Projects.
The final selection results will be announced in January next year through the website and text messages after three rounds of fair evaluation processes.
